The history of the Herman teddy bear was born in 1913 & on October 24, 1913 two brothers Arthur and Max and their sister Adelheld began with the manufacturing of their finest Herman teddy bear in the small village called Neufang nestled in the mountains of Thuringia near the town of Sonneberg which was an at the time the toy capital Founded by Max Hermann in 1920, this company is now run by his grandchildren and is known for its "Hermann Teddy Original" bears. It is one of the oldest surviving teddy bear companies in the world and is located in Coburg, Germany.
