This is a really special piece. I took it to a Native Jewelry shop in town and the owner was very impressed with this unique necklace. He said it’s most likely from the 1950s or 60s. Completely handbuilt, the solid yeii naja is sandcast with 2 sterling feathers applied on top. A bright turquoise stone sits in a hand cut scalloped bezel. Beads are all handcrafted, as is the clasp. Everything is strung on a sterling chain.
This is a unique but classic Navajo necklace for your southwestern collection. In great vintage condition, it has a beautiful heavy, all over patina. Some blemishes & wear from age on the cone beads (see pics). Stunning & ready to hang from your neck!
